MYFontbook: a free and easy way to browse your font collection

MyFontbook is an unique online font viewer that helps save designers time by providing a number of tools to view installed fonts quickly and easily. Unlike a classic font management tool, MyFontbook is platform independent and can be used freely through any web browser. MyFontbook tries to fill the gap between the limited font tools provided by your operating system and the expensive font management applications aimed at power users.

The MyFontbook font viewer was created in 2009 by Jeremy Taylor, a freelance web developer.

  • Compare all of your installed fonts with an easy to use font viewer. Both list and swatch views help you quickly browse your font catalog.
  • Organize your fontbook using tags. Tag fonts to describe a font style or tag fonts by project. You may rate fonts that you often use with the familiar star interface.
  • The gylphs view allows you to quickly scan characters and symbols. Looking for a specific dollar sign for a design? The font viewer makes it easy to find the right typeface.

    Free Business Management Library

Free Business LibraryThere are approximately 650 topics in the Library, spanning 5,000 links. Topics include the most important practices to start, develop, operate, evaluate and resolve problems in for-profit and nonprofit organizations. Each topic has additionally recommended books and related Library topics.

Library Topics Pertain to For-Profits and Nonprofits

Many resources for nonprofits tend to be nonprofit-specific, that is, they are primarily about fundraising, volunteers, public policy, advocating, etc. Actually, most of the activities conducted in nonprofits are the same as those in for-profits. The differences between organizations have more to do with their size than the nature of their services — small for-profits are more like small nonprofits than large for-profits. Similarly, large nonprofits are more like large for-profits than small nonprofits. We make the Library useful to both for-profits and nonprofits, recognizing the vast similarities, as well as differences, between both types of organizations.

    • OCW is not an MIT education.

    • OCW does not provide access to MIT faculty.
    • Materials may not reflect entire content of the course.

MIT’s OpenCourseWare (OCW) has now shared MIT course materials with more than 50 million visitors worldwide, indicating how OCW has grown from a bold idea into a global movement that is reshaping the role of the university in the digital age.

Launched in 2002, OCW is MIT’s ambitious program to share course materials — including syllabi, lecture notes, assignments and exams — from virtually all of the Institute’s classes, freely and openly on the Web. Through the main MIT OpenCourseWare site and through translation affiliate sites, OCW materials have been accessed by an estimated 50 million individuals from more than 200 countries and territories worldwide. Technical support to computer users for free

free computer helpTechnical support to computer users for free. 180,348 answers to date

protonic.com is an online community that provides Technical support to computer users for free.

All the Technicians are volunteers, and we have been featured in many media publications.

If you have a computer problem – anything from hardware to HTML problems – submit your question to us! You should receive an answer to your question in your E-Mail and through our easy to use Web Interface.

For a long time, computer hardware and software manufacturers have provided mediocre support for their own products and charged good money for it. We here at protonic.com are tired of this sort of treatment. We are committed to providing the very high quality support that major companies should but fail to provide to their customers.

You are perfectly welcome to ask any type of computer-related question that you wish. Our volunteer Technicians can help you with anything from software installation to explaining computing terms.

Though almost nothing is out of bounds, please do not ask questions about illegal (hacking, etc.) or other illegal activities (such as E-Mail harvesting). As a policy protonic.com will not answer these types of questions.

We cannot write entire programs for you. This is far beyond what we can and will do. However, we’ll be glad to help you work out programming concepts or give suggestions on perfecting a program you’ve already written.
