Digital Women (http://www.digital-women.com) is an international network for women in business. Founded in 1998 in Aledo, Texas by graphic artist Rebecca Hubbard, Digital Women began as a site on the World Wide Web and was designed to provide resources, information and support for businesswomen worldwide. Rebecca realized through her own financing troubles that the main key to a successful business startup or expansion is the ability to obtain and secure appropriate financing or funding through a small business loan, a government loan, (SBA), or non-government grants for those women unable to tap into their personal finances. Rebecca, through Digital Women helps women entrepreneurs find this financing.
Women Business Owners realize that applying for business funding or financing is a much more complicated process than applying for personal lines of credit or personal loans. Applying for business funding requires careful preparation and demands that you understand the loan or grant process and what it takes to qualify for a business loan.
On a personal note… Rebecca is married, had 2 sons, one of which she lost to suicide in May of 2004, travels the US in an RV motorhome, loves children, pets, especially cats, plants, especially tropical, and calls her mother on a regular basis!
She has over 30 years experience as an entrepreneur and loves networking of all kinds
